Duncan and Anne Swinton formed All Turf Solutions in 2000 with a small boutique turf farm at Tamborine. Previous greenkeeping rolls helped gain a wealth of knowledge which has also been valuable with their sister company Sports Turf Operations. Around 4 years ago the decision was made to expand the turf growing operation to Anne’s family farm at Rathdowney. The Downes property has been in the family since 1895 and has seen many different crops over the years. The original homestead still stands and was made with hand cut timber from the property. It is situated on the Logan River looking up at the beautiful Scenic Rim mountains.

We always put the customer’s needs first and we still practice this ethos everyday.
Duncan’s Bio
Duncan was looking for a career in an outdoor lifestyle industry that would satisfy his passion for attention to detail, so at the age of 19 he left full time employment to study horticulture and green keeping full time. Duncan quickly saw that golf course green keeping offered the challenges and variety that would stimulate and reward him. Graduating with straight honours Duncan was awarded “Green Keeping Student of the Year” and was quickly employed by the prestigious Brisbane Golf Club. Within one year he was appointed as Assistant Superintendent. For another 4 years Duncan completed further part time studies in green keeping and horticulture before taking on Golf Course Superintendent rolls in other parts of the state and the Northern Territory.
