We are well versed with constructing sports grounds and golf surfaces to suit the requirements of the organization. We are specialists in land forming and surface preparation. Our low compaction equipment is well suited to this application. We can form your surfaces following contours with a range of equipment including laser grader, and laser bobcats.

 Stolonising and Over Planting

A grassed surface can be established by planting stolons, or runners into the prepared surface.  In favorable conditions a high quality surface can be achieved in as little as 12 weeks.  Stolons are planted into the prepared bare soil or over planted into an existing grassed surface where the existing grass variety is not suitable.  Frequent irrigation is necessary for up to two weeks until the Stolons produce there own roots.

Maxi Rolls

To help reduce costs and speed up the construction time, solid turf can be installed with maxi rolls. Up to 6000 square meters per day can be laid this way. Maxi Rolls are only available to certain grass varieties, so check with the consultant prior to ordering.

Ready Turf

Ready Turf is an established turf grown on a 60mm profile of sand on a geotextile backing.  Once installed the area is ready for play immediately.

Uses of Ready Turf

Replacement of worn areas eg; soccer goal mouths, centre squares, parks etc. Any area that has to be used immiediatly is suitable for Ready Turf. Tiger Island at dreamworld is such a site that could not be closed down for rehabilitation.  Previous attempts to establish turf where unsuccessful due the nature of the big cats scatching the ground to mark there territory.
